Can anyone help me find a marriage? - completed

Hi,

I'm hunting for the marriage of William Toon(e) and Mary Ann. Their first child was born 1886 in Blidworth, Notts.

IGI lists a marriage of William Toone and Mary Ann Wright in September 1884, but I can't find anything on FreeBMD. William is on there, but no Mary Ann Wright - no Mary Anns at all on the same page.

Can anyone help?

Apologies Sunflower, only just seen your reply.

Thanks very much for the info. Does that mean that they were married at Mansfield Parish Church? Just wondering as William lived in Blidworth before and after the marriage.

Yes it was Mansfield St. Peters.

 A marriage usually took place in the Brides parish, so perhaps Mary Ann Wright was from Mansfield and it is only a few miles from Blidworth.
