Baptism of Jonathan HULSE 1842 in Northwich area

Jonathan HULSE's birth was registered in Northwich RD in 1842.

He married my relative in 1862 in Christ Church, Wharton, Maria HATTON and they had 11 children.  Maria was born abt 1844 the d/o George HATTON * Catherine DICKINSON.

Jonathan HULSE was the local Methodist preacher as well as a waterman and he died in 1912.

I can't seem to locate him in any of the Censuses UNTIL after his marriage to Maria ....

Any help appreciated!!

The marriage you refer to is on the Family Search Labs pilot site.  They married 16th? November 1862 and Jonathan's father was Richard HULSE - both father and son have the occupation Waterman.  You can download an image of the parish register entry.

I have viewed the page and it has not only given me their marriage date but also Jonathan's father Richard HULSE and a witness Elizabeth HULSE, perhaps a relative?

That's what I'm guessing because I cannot find him at all until after his marriage to Maria HATTON, my relative.

I'm off to check ancestry now ....
