Hi there does anyone know where i can get records of brethren chapels in swansea, my g,g grandfather was a minister have tried looking through the cencus and he disapears, i know he was married twice

his surname was LEWIS

I know this is an old post but hoping this may help ... I doubt your ancestor was a minister as the Brethren don't have church hierarchy.  He may have been an elder - part of a group of men who act as the spiritual head.  Also, the Brethren don't believe in, or practice infant baptism (christening) so there will be no records of those either.
