Can someone find Cornelius McDowall b Antrim 1843 he married Ann McAvoy of County Down b 1851
Postlethwaite, Dalton in Furness Lancashire, Williamson, Birkett, Grave in Keswick Cumberland, Holmes, in Stavely, Westmorland.  Also Robinson and McDowell Keswick, Cumberland and Ireland.

Co. Antrim is a large area which can also include Belfast. Have you found the marriage yet?

Sorry no i haven't found the marriage yet.  They were Catholics so may be difficult.

May need a little more information please if you can. Have you any other birth details, such as parent's names?
There are a few Ann McAvoy marriages listed on IFHF for both Antrim and Down.

If Anne was born c1851 the marriage almost certainly took place after 1864 (start of civil registration of Catholic marriages) so their religion should not make it more difficult to find the record of their marriage.
