« on: Tuesday 09 September 08 13:16 BST (UK) »
Hi. I have just come across this on the CWGC site.  In memory of sergeant William Illidge.  11645, 6th battallion. South regiment. died 9 April1916.
I think this may well be my great uncle.  Is there any way of finding more details. address etc.    Thanks Kassi

Theres 6 Illidges listed on Soldiers Died In Great War..Only one with a cheshire connection
Rest are in the St Helens /Manchester/Wolverhampton none born Runcorn.
Thats not to say none were Killed in Navy Royal Marines or Air Force but CWGC is best bet for that.
