Bristol Address Info needed

Hi list
Could someone with Bristol knowledge please confirm what was at
4 Chesterfield Place, Bristol. It appears on a death certificate and I am trying to find out if it was a nursing home,hospital of something like this in 1931.

Do not know if this is any use
there used to be a Chesterfield Private Hospital in the Clifton area of Bristol

I have tried to find out more (i do not live there any more)

look on
Redland.org.uk
and under Redland Community and Historic section their is a story called
Shot in a Train
it mentions a surgeon called Pritchard coming from Chesterfield Place

Thks for that Rose - I will try and find out more now, it least it confirms that my gran died in a proper establishment.

Unsure if this is any help or more confusion.Looked up a Bristol street map...(dont live in Bristol) Theres a Chesterfield Rd and an Ave in Montpelier close to central Bristol..cant find any type o landmark ie hospital etc... A Chesterfield Cl heading towards Western Super Mare (out of Bristol) and a Chesterfield House in Mid Sommer Norton, also out of Bristol. Unsure what is or was at Chesterfield House.Our map is a 1994 map so maybe Chesterfield pl an old street..i can only guess.Maybe try and contact the Bristol Tourist Info Centre.Just found another map,you have Central Bristol then St Pauls and Cotham then Montpelier.Other surrounding areas are St werburghs,Ashley Down, Bishopston and Redland,Clifton is not far either.Hope a little helpful!  ele

I feel that the Clifton area is where the answer lies. The family were from that district. Now that I have a bit of a lead I will try the local libraries, Kellys etc for that period.
