   Florence Powell (nee Sheppard) b c 1914
   Violet Williams ( nee Sheppard) b c 1917
   Gladys ( not known) (nee Sheppard) b c 1920

  All born Swindon Area Their parents were Cecil Sheppard and Annie Williams m 1911 Newent Glos.

  I am helping an elderly lady with her tree, and she is desperate to find "living relations"

The best way of contacting living relatives in this instance would perhaps be to write to the local newspapers (editors) of the area she came from and ask them to put out a message for you.

That way, the living relatives will contact the paper and thence yourself or the lady involved.

 Must admit had concidered this option, but having tried it before had lack of response from papers. But wii give it a go. Thank you.

Only a thought David because I personally would be wary of contact with people phoning or writing to the house of living relatives, different if looking for long deceased ancestors.

Have you tried contacting the Wiltshire Family History Society? I know sometimes they print letters from non-members in their letters page. They have a web site which contains their contact details.
