Canal side photo - Oldbury ?

My family lived in Oldbury and had a canal coal business . (I posted a photo of a horse and cart at the Coal business some time ago !) . I have received this scanned photo from someone who is also researching the same family. We are sure it must be Oldbury . I have posted in the Staffordshire section to see if anyone can identify the place.

Can anyone make it a bit clearer ? There does seems to be someone at one of the windows .

Hello Bellou,

It would be better if you re-scanned the photo and make it a bit bigger, it is very pixellated.

Should you have any problems with scanning , have a look at Cazza's tutorial near the top of the board.

I am afraid. This is now it was sent to me  . Probably is the size of the original.  I have tried to adjust it myself and posted that one on the Staffordshire interest board .

I will see if I can get it rescanned.

You need 2 scans,one at 300dpi so the restorers can work on it and a close up of the shop front at 600dpi to see if the name is visible,this may lead to a location.
