Alice Jeffries is at 49 Hewell  St, Cardiff Difficult to decide the street name - anyone know this area and can make a suggestion? I'd send a piccie but not sure how to.

There is a Hewell St in Penarth which ties in to her birth/marriage etc.

I know the ages don't look a correct match in the 1901 but tracing back over the census years the ages are in line for the ages that Welshmum thought they were.

Looks even better that Hewell street fits in with the birth and marriage details that Welshmum has.

Hi Ambers,

On the marriage cert he used Thomas but on the birth cert which was completed (imformant) by Alice it has Tom.

When I said it ties in with Hewell St, it is not far from the streets named as residences at the time of marriage of both Thomas and Alice.

I have checked for the deaths of John and Sarah Jefferies but can't see any clear matches.

Hi Welshmum,

It might be a good idea to get the birth certificate of one of those children listed in the 1901  census to prove a connection to you nan born in 1905

I couldn't see a death  for Sarah or John either as the ages were a few years out, but still it's all according to the person registering them as to how old they thought they were.
