Jack Cottersall or similar surname

I have a copy of a love letter my first cousin, twice removed had written to Jack Cottersall, that was the name on the envelope and he is recorded as residing at 15, Highcroft Road, Crouch Hill, London. Although the letter has no date on it, I believe it to be written between 1930 and 1932. The letter mentions a night out at Finsbury Park Empire. My relation was Lilian Kathleen Warwick born 1902 at St Ippolittes, Hitchin, Herts. Does Jack tie in with anybody else's research ? Although it has the surname Cottersall on the envelope it could be that or something similar.
