1837online

I gave up buying 1837online credits when I took up a subscription with Ancestry, as Ancestry seemed to have everything I needed.  However, it seems that UK overseas (non-military) birth registrations are on 1837online, but not on Ancestry (someone please correct me if I am wrong!).

If this is the case, I wonder if anyone could help me with a single look-up on 1837online?  I am interested in a birth registration for George Edwin NOBLE in Christiania (= modern Oslo) in the period 1857-60.

I already know of two NOBLEs, Mary Ann and Robert, both registered in Christiania in 1860.  But I am missing a birth registration for George, who was an older brother, and so would presumably have been registered earlier.

Only the two that you have already found are showing. No George Edwin - I checked 1854-1860 Consular Births.

Thanks Gadget ... I thought that I had done a thorough search when I found the other two a couple of years back, but not finding him anywhere else, I wondered if I had made a mistake.

Oh well ... the search goes on!
