Army Record Card lookup please
« on: Saturday 20 September 08 10:45 BST (UK) »
I wonder if anyone who has access would be kind enough to look up for me the service record card of:

PERCIVAL ARCHIBALD WOODS

He was born in c1912.   His address in 1934 was Elmhurst Park, London, N4 and his NOK in 1939 would have been his wife Gladys Geraldine Adelaide Woods (nee Foster).  In case it is relevant for identification, his pre-War occupation was Clerical Officer, Ecclesiastical Commisioners, Church House, London, SW1.

I know he served in the army and did not return until 1947 in a poor state of health - I believe he may have been a Prisoner of War in the Far East.   I do not know in which Regiment he served.

Many thanks, Sue

I'm afraid WW2 records are not in the public domain, and the only way of ascertaining service is through their service records. And these are only available to Next of Kin. If you are NoK then details of how to apply can be found here:

However, if he was a POW in the FE then he may have a card. This site tells you how to access them:
