The girl has a hand on her shoulder, Rabbit.
So to my way of thinking, perhaps the family were taking snaps, Father took mother and the girl, because it isn't a man's hand, and the girl didn't wind the film on and took Mother and Father on top..
The woman behind is just a bit of fancy, because all we can see is what looks like fingers, but the girl herself with the two cats is as near as I can tease out of the shadows.

blimey! Havent you all been busy! Some brilliantly interesting piccies!

I'm still not 100% convinced that the one pic was taken on the same day as the other...... if.. as my mum says it is her mother.... then she was 3 when her father died... which fits in and could be a double expo of my nan, on her parents... but something just doesnt sit right! .. hmmm.. curioser and curioser!
