what do i do now?
« on: Saturday 20 September 08 20:03 BST (UK) »
Hi all i found my gggg grandfather george tustin in 1788 baptism his mother and father was robert and ann in hanbury worcester, i emailed worcester records office and they kindly looked, they found the information for me above they also looked at marriage records for robert and ann but found nothing and no reference to any other children she said this would imply that they were married elsewhere.
does anyone know where to go with this? george went on to have children but his first wife died i do not know her name, but he then married susannah and he died in butlers marston warwickshire in 1831 any advice?

thanks kerry

What was your gggg grandfather's surname?

Have you tried using the advanced search on www.familysearch.org and putting in Robert (surname) & Ann as parents and seeing what comes up?

There's a record on the IGI of a Robert Tustin marrying a MARY GROVES in Nanton Beauchamp in Worcester  23 Jun 1785 which is quite close to Hanbury.

IGI has marriage of George to Susannah
1805   Butlers Marston, Warwick, England but no source quoted
same record has his death:
1842   Leamington Priors, Warwick, England

If he was baptised in 1788 and was an infant then he's only be 17 in 1805!

There's also a marraiage for a George Tustin to a Jane
04 FEB 1796   Saint Nicholas, Gloucester, Gloucester, England
Batch No: M036111
If he was BORN in 1788 he'd be 8 years old!

If the Robert who married in Naunton Beauchamp was his father then he was the son of John Tustin & Susannah

Can see record for George Tustins marrying Susannah Warr 21 APR 1806   Saint Phillips, Birmingham, Warwick, England in batch No:
M041791
