take a look at this one, any idea of date?

Is it August 1918?  There's a George V* head on the stamp. Definitely AUG though.

I agree with August, could be 16 or 18 though...........
I have tried looking up the manufacturer but to no avail.  Made by <W&R? K? London EC>
