Re the marriage of Henry Berry to Mary Jane Henley which took place at St Thomas Church, Dudley 12 October 1851.  I am looking for the parents of Henry (also known as Henry Bury) and perhaps the marriage details will include his father and witnesses etc

Last week I managed to visit Worcester Record Office, whilst we were on holiday in our caravan at Broadway. I looked up your request and here are the details:

HENRY BERRY, of full age, batchelor, labourer, born Dudley. Father Samuel Berry, labourer married MARY JANE HENLEY, of full age, spinster. Father Joseph Henley, cooper by trade.
Witnesses:  Joseph Henley and Eleizabeth Henley. Married by Banns.

Just found, on the 1851 census, your family:

Joseph Henley, aged 50, married, cooper, born Dudley, Worcs
Jane          "     , wife  aged 52, born Montgomery, Wales
Mary, daughter, aged 20, born Kinver, Worcs (it's recorded as Kenver)
Edward, son, aged 18         "        "          "
Sarah, daughter, aged 14, born Stourbridge, Worcs.
Jane, daughter, aged 12        "           "                "
(Mary would be your Mary Jane)

In 1851 they were living at 38, Talbot Back Lane, Oldswinford, Stourbridge, Worcs.
