Which site did you use?


On the FreeBMD site you put the surname first then the christian names; caught me out a few times when I first started hunting!  ::)

Using www.ancestry.co.uk  FW Harper b 1891 Islington is the first listed.

I ticked the UK only box, put his full name, 1891, and England but left the county blank.

If I put Frederick William in the first and middle names box, Harper in the Surname box, and 1891 in the year box, nothing else, he is the first hit!
