James Bailey - 1851/1841 - Please

Hello,

Trying to trace back JAMES BAILEY my GGG-Grandfather who was born so it says on the later census in Rushton, Staffordshire in 1831

I know however that he was by 1854 in Oldham because his eldest child Samuel (bn. 1854) was born there at that time. James' wife Sarah born abt 1834 was born in Oldham

Would like to know roughly when James came up from Staffordshire and where he is in 1851 and before would be of great help
