The census of 1871 shows George Dyer Colton born1846 in Reading living in Newbury, married and has a visitor William Wakefield.

Also in 1871 the census shows Sarah Colton Born circa 1846 Hungerford with her daughter Elizabeth A Colton born 1870 in Hungerford. She appears to be living with or staying with her parents George and Harriet Buxey. Also on the same page are Edwin and Harriet Buxey with 6 children all born in Hungerford. Except the wife born Chervill.
All in Charnham Street Hungerford.

George died in Jun 1/4 1891 and his last child Ernest was born in Dec 1/4 1891.
Poor Ellen!
I hope this is clear I don't have actual proof but Ellen could not have had Elizabeth Ann in 1869 at 14 or at least extremely unlikely.
