William Bingham of Palterton
« on: Friday 26 September 08 19:16 BST (UK) »
My g-g-g-g-grandfather William Bingham was (according to the census) born in Palterton in 1766 and died around 1852 in Nottingham. Palterton doesn't have a church and the nearest is Scarcliffe. Any Bingham connections that you know of? After him, all his descendents lived in the Mansfield/Nottingham area. He was a stone mason.
