Not sure where he is in 1841, do you know his father's name from marriage cert?
Is he the one who ended up in Cleator, Cumberland - if so will try to eliminate the others who appear in later census, all born about same time in I.O.M.

Hi, that was just my reading of the name from the 1841 census image, there was nothing on the enumeration page to clarify it...

Still haven't found him in 1841, thought the James grandson with Ann Lewney would probably be his brother, or maybe they're one and the same, John James or James John perhaps??  Do you know if he had siblings? Will you be getting his marriage cert to find his father's name?
