Hello Aled......

I have looked through the Parish Registers , for the name Salisbury Jones, and I am afraid that the name does not ocuur in any of them...births, marriages or deaths 1627-1820.....

Where did yo get your information, regarding this gentle man ?

The nearest name I can fin, is Silas Jones.....

Regards

hi...thx for the reply...

salisbury Jones is noted  in the 1841 census of Aberffraw Anglesey  occ brick maker and was born Penarlag.....

i believe him to be the probable father of Robert Jones bricklayer born Hawarden c1801 married to jane residing in Gaerwen Anglesey...

kind regards
Aled...

Hi Aled......

Not sure why I misssed your message , but here goes........

The only Robert Jones to be baptisedat Hawarden in 1801 were.....

Robert Jones / son of William and Martha nee Large / Farmer of Ewloe / baptised January 21st 1801

Robert Jones / son of William and Elizabeth nee Jones / engraver of Aston / baptised May 2nd 1801

Robert Jones / son of Edward and Catherine nee Shone / labourer of Shotton / baptised Feb 27th 1802

Robert Jones / son of Charles and Ann nee Jones / labourer of Shotton / baptised July 24th 1802

Robert Jones/ son of  Samuel and Rebecca nee Ellis / collier of Ewloe / baptised July 6th 1802

There are a few more later in the year , but I will not confuse you too much .

I think it likely, that the ones living at Ewloe will be you best bet.
