By 1861 Phebe Burkes is 17 and working for a farmer...the rest of the family except for William are together

ooo Just found William Burkes (14 b Huggate) in 1861 LOL ...he is next door to his family, working as a plough boy in Reuben Johnson's household (Fox Cover? Hall) ...Reuben is an ag lab so it appears that they are all working for Richard Cook a farmer ( at Huggate House) of 550 acres.

hi I could hug you 2 lol.  You know more about my family than i do.  Where do you get the information from?

I have come across those names in my research but need to confirm if they are my Burkes.  I have a photo which belonged to My Grandma of a headstone for William Burkes of Huggate who died age 77 in 1923 and was married to Faith Burkes.

thank you

Samantha
