I was looking for clues on any of Lydia's children's names. There's a Frederick showing as b. 1925 in St Nicholas (but they didn't marry until 1926) and also an Edith Rose S.......how frustrating, I wonder what the S stood for?!

What were the names showing for William McRobb's parents on their MC Gadget?

Nope, not getting anywhere with those names.

Back to possible births, not DEACON, but there is this entry:

Jun- Aug March-June 1906: Lydia Rose DEAN in Southwark - Vol. 1d   pg. 38

Definitely Deacon on the 1914 index and on Lydia's marriage cert - although the c is closed!

Monica if she was born 10 August 1906, she couldn't have been registered before then  :-\  It could be even 1st quarter 1907 - allowing for late reg or even not registered  :(

Agree Gadget, certainly looks like Deacon (could be spelt Deakin etc. on census entries). The closest I can see on births though is the entry I posted (and that was searching FreeBmd quarter by quarter with just Lydia no surname 1904-1906. However, with nothing else on board so far to consider, going round in circles.
