John ROWE was born in Woodgreen, Essex.

That is interesting. May I ask where you located that info? I have looked hi & lo and found nothing on John ROWE.

The 1851 Census has a John Rowe of a similar age born in Wood Green, maybe he's with people you know are difinately family. It would be interesting to know who was the informant on his death certificate. You need proof not just judge it on the things I've suggested.

I do have John ROWE in the 1851 census, but not sure how to find out who was the informant on his death certificate.

Morning,

The only way to find out what's on the death certificate is to buy it - it will cost you £7.  There might be somehing on it that helps you but there is no guarantee.

As he died in 1866 you might try searching for him on ancestry in the 1841-1861 census.

Hi,

I am related to Stephen Amer who married Elizabeth Ann Rowe in about the early 1800s.  Are you possibly related to this Rowe.  If so I would be interested to find out if she is related to you.

They had one daughter and 3 Sons, that were mentioned in his Will, but they did have more children but I think died early.  Stephen, William and Joseph, their daughter was called Anne.  All born between early 1800's to 1816.  I can give you more info when I get on my computer later, but would love to hear from you.
