The following is a list of some of the internment camps in the twenty six counties of Ireland during the 1922-3 Civil War ... 

Arbour Hill, Beggars Bush, Curragh, Gormanstown, Kilmainham, Maryboro, Mountjoy, Mullingar, Newbridge, Portabello, Tin Town II and Wellington

Hi, I am trying to find out if there was internment in Oldcastle Co.Meath during WW1.

I was told that some of my German ancestors who had been living in Ireland were first interned in Oldcastle and then moved to Isle of Man.

 "Oldcastle" and "Meath" and "internment".

Be interested if anyone has anything on the Internment prisons in the North for the same period. Including Argenta, Larne, Crumlin Road, Derry Gaol, and Ballykinlar. Photos stories? Any info really. thanks.
