Hello,

This would be better placed on the Yorkshire board.

What sort of information are you hoping to obtain?

Justin

Hi dragon and welcome to Roots

So you have all the census information for your family??  have you tried a visit to the records office relevent to your search if possible, that way you could maybe search for other records that happened before 1837, it's great to see the old records.

Let us know how we can help you

I have traced my line through my mother her granddad and so on up until 1851 where I have John Stephenson and Jane stephenson with Thomas Stephenson son living at rectory no2 Kirby Misperton.
Can't read birth place has been transcribed as semton haven't found on any of my searches on another site someone has told me it is screeton.
Haven't visited any records been doing every thing from comfort of computer chair. How would I know which offices to try and what would I be looking for.

Hi Me again

can you post the ref number for 1851 census, it should start RG H0107, I would like to look at who you are talking about, hopefully we may be able to get you back to the 1841, and then in the correct direction for the records office

Only numbers I can see on record are H.O. 107/2373 there is also a number 251 in corner of census.
From what I can gather other sites give you these refrences when you search am using Genes Reunited and only refrences available are on actual census record.

Ok I can see the page now, full ref is RG H0107 2373 251 2

Is it me going really blonde  ;D but all I can see is John and Jane and a house full of servants, no sign of Thomas - I'm going back for another read in a moment because it's late for me now!!
