hi ! i wonder if anyone can help me ? im lookingfor my grandads family , "george thomas " on his marriage certificate it says hes 25, that was in 1900, on his certificate it says born cernarvon town , he died at ypres 2nd mch 1916 aged 40 , at that time he lived in sth wales , i have no other real info on him before 1900, but for the fact that his father was "john thomas" slate miner who died before george got married , these names are very common at that time, but my gran told a cousin that he was born or lived in penrhyndeudraeth ! with respect ! the name doesnt just roll of the tongue or memory to my sth welsh cousin ! i love the sound of that name , if he was born in that area with his birth being between census's how can i find if he did live there? because it was custom at that time to move around ! can anyone help or advise me ? i would be very grateful  ;D
