Chart Sutton 1871 Census

I wonder if anyone out there would be able to help me decipher the Street / House name where George Boulden is living on census Piece: 948; Folio: 53; Page: 9.  It appears to get mis-transcribed all over the place.  I have checked local modern maps but can find nothing to match it.  Would anyone have any ideas?

It look like Chart Vents.

  Just done an address search on FindMyPast and yes you are right Bearkat.
  It is Chart Vents :)

From the enumerator's route it looks as if it was between Amber Lane and Boughton Road.

  Dont know if this helps but on FindMyPast person search it gives address as Near Theretto.

  I have no knowledge of the area at all sorry.

Thank you all for your input.  It's definitely the address that's mis-transcribed as Keretheretro and Near Theretto.  It appears to stand somewhere between Moat Farm and Lucks Lane.

I can't make it look like "Chart Vents" - the eunumerator's route was Moat Farm, the Brickyard, this property, a few more properties and then Luck's Lane :-\

The same wording appears in the enumerator's description book ie. "...................... including the malthouse mill house & cottages (the same wording which looks something like "nere thereto") new place ......................" etc. without any punctuation.

I wonder if it is merely a description ie. after the brickyard "nere (near) there t(?)o ........."

That sounds about the most plausible answer come to think of it.  George's brother William was living with him in 1871; in 1881 William was living at Lake Farm which, on modern maps, is nest door to Moat Farm.  It's quite likely that Lake Farm didn't exist in 1871.
