Parish records lookup Jersey c1803

I am trying to find 4 x great grandfathers baptism. I have him on a few censuses as born Jersey c1803. On the 1841 census he is living with his wife and children in Southampton, also with his mother Ann born c1765  Ireland.

It's the sort of silly mistake I make quite often.. miss the most important part.

I'll have a look on Tuesday when the Archive Centre is open.

I'm afraid I can't see a baptism for a James Carey around 1803 in Jersey (or any other Carey's).

Incidentally, there is a book called the History of the Carey's of Guernsey. Could it be he came from there?

It is possible i guess. I am just going on what he says on every census, Jersey!
