Carscadden Linen Trader Where can I look?
« on: Monday 06 October 08 17:26 BST (UK) »
This is a brickwall for me so anything to do with his family I would be greatful. William R Carscaden was born in Coleraine in 1824. In 1844 he married a Lincolnshire women in Leeds Mary Bullivant 9 May 1824 Torksey Lincolnshire. He was down as a Linen Merchant. Somewhere between 1861 and 1871 the whole family disapears there being 7 surviving children. None of them come up on any searchs. Did they go to Ireland. Did they join relatives abroad? I just can't find them. Who was his family in Ireland? Are the other Carscadens in Yorkshire related? I wish I knew.

There were Corscaddens about the area. Does William's marriage certificate list his father's name and occupation?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
