i wasreally hoping to seea photo of the street where they lived in 1800,i went to visit portsmouth last yearand found landport st,but of course the home wasnt there.

did you manage to get to the museum where all the records were kept ? they have now been moved to the main library (most records) if you want i can pop there after Xmas and see if there are any pics

you will have to buzz me back cos the ol brain tends to forget lol

couple of years ago i went to Portland to try and find the coastguard cottage (1891 census)
