Any information on the Saunders Family born and residing in the Dagenham area greatly appreciated. Thomas Saunders was married to Susan Saunders and had a Daughter named Esther Saunders aged 7 in the 1891 census. At this time she was residing in Rainham with her sister Sarah A Saunders who was 20 but married to a James Hull this giving Sarah the name Hull. The census records for this are RG12/1374 folio 11 page 15. The father of Esther and Sarah were at RG12/1371 folio 34 page 17. The family in the 1881 census are at RG11/1745 93 page 24 and in 1871 RG10/1646 folio 67 page 11.
Does anyone know anything else about this family as I need to tie this up with Esther Saunders marrying Matthew Bird in Sandhurst which is the adjoining village to Hawkhurst Kent in 1904. Their ages then were put at 21 and 20 ( I have that cert)I cannot find either Matthew or Esther on the 1901 census.
