Minnie Eliza Doling may have married twice - once to Thomas Appleton, they appear on the 1921 census Kootenay West. British Columbia with a son.

Thomas Appleton 44   Head.
Minnie Appleton 27   Wife.
James T Appleton   3 months Son.
