How do I go about finding who John's parents were and if he had siblings?

Hi  :)

I see that John was already living away from home on the 1841 census. The best bet would be for you to get their marriage certificate which will give their parents names.

This is a possible reference

June q, 1849, Machynlleth, vol 27 Page 152C

John Griffith and Jane Williams on the same page.
