Sara Lee of Coventry was my gggg grandmother. She married an Aaron Stanton also born about 1750 in Walsgrave on Sowe, Coventry. They married on 11 Mar 1766 (very young if the birth dates are correct.!). They had my ggg grandmother, Sarah Stanton who married a John Pearson, all of Coventry.( All from LDS records)
I am looking for Sara Lee's parents and any siblings, and particularly, whether the name was ever spelled 'LEIGH', as from 1811 onwards, that name has featured, right up to the present day, as a Christian name of the Pearson family , both male and female.
Any help would be much appreciated as where the name Leigh came from, is a family mystery.
