Well done and many thanks yes that looks good for the niece I felt so sorry when I read the rape case but the Diarist said She was no better than she ought and both should have been scentanced two days later the verdict was given and the accused got off

Strange you should say that he is very proud to tell us in his later diaries that he has  written for a particular banbury newspaper but he was only 16 when the George episode went on He wrote in a rather pompous Mainer but it is still a great insight into everyday life in n Oxfordshire he covers everything from religion to polotics from nature to meteorology really a very good read even with out the family mentions
