Hi Pam
My sincere thanks on a job well done.  You've got it spot on.
Just a comment for your own interest, the address on the 1841 is Cwmsyfiog.  Not sure where you are or if you know the area but Cwmsyfiog is a small village directly opposite Brithdir, the village I'm researching.  The Rhymney River runs between the two villages, Brithdir on the one bank being in Glamorgan and Cwmsyfiog on the opposite bank is in Monmouth.  The river marks the ancient border between the parish of Bedwellty [ Cwmsyfiog] and the parish of Gelligaer [Brithdir]
That said, we are all Welsh.

Many thanks
Roy

Thanks Roy live Cambridgeshire prior to that Yorkshire, so the Welsh names are not natural to me.

Are your queries on the Harrhy and George Families complete or do you wish me to check for anything else.

Hi Pam
I think the only thing left to do is finding Job George on the 1871, 1891 and 1901.  You have covered 41, 51, 61, and I can located him on the 1881.  If its not too much trouble then I would appreciate it

Regards
Roy

Hello again

Request 1871 1881 1891

Gave you Jane George a Widow on 1881 @ Crown and Sceptre(no problems if you have mislaid still have info so can post it.

These two deaths on BMD rule out Job George on 1871 and Jane on 1891
March qtr 1864  Job George  Bedwellty 11a  73

March qtr 1888 Jane George aged 73  Bedwellty 11a 68

which leaves Jane George on 1871 and here it is
@ Crown and Sceptre Bedwellty

Jane George   Head Widow 55                                      Born Brecon
Mary               Dau               32                                              Glam Gelligaer
Ann                Dau               25                                               Mon Bedwellty
Emma            Dau               23                                                        "
James            son               20  Harpist                                           "
plus
Margaret Scundrell  Sister  33                                                Glam Merthyr

Anything else???

Sadly no luck with the Crown and Sceptre 1891 1901

No way of just putting above instead of a surname

Any ideas??

Hi Pam
Sorry for not coming back sooner, its only now I am picking up your last message.   I think you have helped more than enough on this one and I apologise for giving extra work in trying to find who was at the Crown especially without a name to go on.

Many many thanks Pam for your help.
