Is anyone able to do a West Monkton look up please. Im looking for the marriage of James Babbage and Mary ? to find out her maiden name. James was born in Nettlecombe 1799 and their first child was born 1828 so if you could look from 1819 onwards please.

Can't help with the look up,but just wanted to say I have Mockridge's from West Monkton,my great grandma born 1872 and all her ancestors!

If I come across any Babbage marriages I'll let you know.

Scroll about halfway down where you will see a lady's name who is in the middle of transcribing West Monkton.

I've found that a lot of mine also married at Pitminster too.
