 I have my great grandparents  marriage cert  I would like  to know more about them but not sure how to go about it ..

If you have the marriage certificate already what sort of information are you hoping to find?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

 Thnk you for your reply we can not  find a baptismal cert for my ggrandfather  it would seem  he was born before his parents moved  to waterford I am intrested to know  more about his side of his family...

Since civil registratration of births only started in 1864 there will be no birth certificate but to find hurch records (of they exist) you need to know where the family lived.
Have you found him in any census with county of birth listed? Also, what about searching for him in LDS site www.familysearch.org- there might be a submitted or extracted record there for him.

I have the 1901 census   but my G Grandmother  is listed as head of the family  I will follow up on your information....
