Could anyone please find Francis Evans born 1834-5 Shropshire ,Shiffnal or Snedshill, retired miner. Living in Stoke on trent. Wife Jane born 1832(but may have died). Thanks Holden

Hello Maggie. Yes it is. In 1891 he was living at 3 Lonsdale st Stoke. In 1901 there may be Nathaniel Evans still living with him. Holden

Hi Maggie. 1871 living at Queen st Fenton with wife Jane and children Thomas age 15 mary age 13 and Martha age 8. 1881 living at 3 Lonsdale st with same children apart from Thomas being called William T. Francis is now a grocer aged 46 born Snedshill. Holden

Maggie. If it helps .I don't think Martha married so she may be living with Francis in 1901. She was grocer in 1891 born Shifnal  in1863. Holden

hi Maggie, Thank you for  your help. I'm sorry I got the birthplace of Martha wrong. She was born 1863 Longton not Shiffnal. If you can find her in 1901 she may be living with her father or Nathaniel.
