Eliza (wife)                * about 1857
and their children:

John SCHNITZLER  * about 1879
Eliza SCHNITZLER * about 1881
Joseph SCHNITZLER * about 1887
Beatrice SCHNITZLER * about 1890

does anybody know more about this family ?

The numbers are references that need to be quoted, along with the other details,  if you want to order a copy of the certificate from the General Register Office.

Hi,

I have found these 3 naturalisations.

These are available from the National Archives in London.

I employed a researcher to obtain copies of my ancestors' naturalisation, but I have since been informed that the National Archives will do copies for a fee.
You may need to enquire with the National Archives themselves.

Nationality and Naturalisation: Schnitzler, August, from Germany. Resident in London. Certificate A5200 issued 15 January 1887.

Nationality and Naturalisation: Schnitzler, Johann Joseph, from Germany. Resident in London. Certificate 14789 issued 10 September 1904.

Nationality and Naturalisation: Schnitzler, Julius, from Germany. Resident in London. Certificate 17901 issued 4 March 1909.


The naturalisation records should tell you exatly where they came from.
