ALMEY - Tuxford. Parish Records - 1841/51 census
« on: Sunday 19 October 08 18:59 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
I wonder if anyone has access to the parish records of TUXFORD, notts.

I Am looking for the birth of Daniel ALMEY (Alma on the 1861 census!) He was born c1807. I am hoping to get details about his parents and maybe siblings.

I have him on the 1861/71/81 censuses, but wonder if anyone could find him on earlier ones. That could give me more information about his family.

Thank you
Gill

Sheila,

"DANIEL ALMEY, 27th April 1797 - parents Daniel & Amey"

On IGI there is record for Daniel born 27 April 1797...he died on October 25, 1797. It is an extracted record.

Thank you so much to all. Given me plenty to work on.

I have just found Amey ALLMAY on the 1841 census in Worksop, Notts. My Daniel called his daughters Amy and Eliza so looks promising!

Thanks again

Gill
