1871 Census Lookup please

Samuel Meek  c. 13.8.1820 Thurlton, Norfolk
wife Elizabeth b. 18.1.1826 Thurlton, Norfolk

I have searched the 1871 census but cannot find either, I have Samuel  (60) on the 1881  as a patient in an Infirmary , Pottergate, Norwich, Elizabeth  (54) was at home Norton Street, Norton Subcourse, with 3 children

this could be them

They were transcribed as Meck - i guess because the second 'e' doesn't look like the first 'e' so presumed it to be a different letter.

i'd say that although Samuel's occupation does say "carpener" - there is no 't' in it, it is probably carpenter

I had a Look At The Census and it is most Certanly Meek that is Writen on Not Meek
