1911 Census
« on: Friday 24 October 08 20:03 BST (UK) »
I am looking for John Joseph DANA(g)HER and wife Catherine on the 1911 Census.
They were married in Tipperary in 1909.
Where can I access it.?
Or I would be grateful for a look up for this family if anyone has it available.
Many thanks.

1911 and 1901 will eventually be available through National Archives, Dublin. In the meantime you can order 1911 census from your local LDS library if you can't get to Ireland. See www.familysearch.org and search in the catalogue under place name (you have to know where the family lived in 1911 to order the correct reel).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thanks for reply.
I guess that means that it is not indexed. Will have to think of a way to find where they lived in Tipperary.!!

Thanks for replies,
The DANAGHER family were military people, so appeared to have moved around quite a lot. I shall try Limerick.

Thank you Jack for all of that.
Yes that is the family we are looking for and in particular the son John Joseph. He married Catherine Casey in Tipperary in 1909. Trying to trace from there to Portsmouth.
Catherine was the daughter of Jeremiah CASEY so would be good to learn about him too !!!
