1891 Census Liverpool
« on: Thursday 15 April 04 13:06 BST (UK) »
Is there a good soul who could look up my husbands family in Liverpool? :)

William Butler & Bridget Laverty were married in Liverpool on 12th April 1891.

Williams age at time of marriage was 24 his address at time of marriage was:

116 new Henderson Street, Toxteth Park
father was John Butler a labourer. I would love to know who was resident at this address at the time of the census, place of birth etc, etc,

Bridget Laverty age at time of marriage was 22 her address at time of marriage was :
110 Wolfe Street, Toxteh Park
Father John Laverty - Labourer
I would love to know who is resident at this address at the time of census, place of birth etc,

In the 1901 census Bridget & William are living in the laverty household - where are they in 1891?
 :) ;) :)
Many many thanks

Hi Grub
 ;D ;D ;D You're a real star  ;D ;D ;D
 :D :D :D yet again you come up trumps :D :D :D

Thanks for finding the Laverty family, I was hoping that  for once they may have been more specifuc about their birth place rather than just Ireland. But thats too much to expect of our ancestors, they never make it easy for us - do they?.

But help from the people like yourself on this wonderful site, makes it easier - thanks a million

Look forward to hearing who lived in the Butler household in 1901.

Cheers
Dawn

Thanks for your kind offer. This is my mother-in-laws family. I would expect that the 1891 census will show William Butler born circa 1867, his father John Butler born circa 1841 mother & Ellen not sure when she was born. There may well be siblings. I am rather hoping that this census is more specific about place of birth, all I know so far is Ireland!
Thanks :)
