I never did find which pub Philip BEER kept but today I find that a Philip BEER was keeping the Glover's Arms in Torrington in 1830 now this surely isn't the same Philip as the original one was born 1812 so too young to have been a publican in 1830. However the name and area make me wonder how/where  he fits onto my tree
Can anyone help please?

Yes they do hang on the outer twigs
This quest has come about after we found that our web site was mentioned in the latest issue of WDYTYA magazine referring the readers to my piece about Devon Glovers and it also said a Phillip Beer kept the Glover's Arms in Torrington 1830 So being me the word Pub and Beer just made my start hunting Toni* and I already have another BEER publican and a Phillip Beer but not old enough to be the one at the Glover's in 1830. He must relate though
Thanks for the interest another pair of eyes is very welcome indeed

That is very useful thank you so I think we can assume Phillip to be a similar age and has died before her. Can you tell me where you found that please the free BMDs dont show age on death that early
