1855 arrival ORWELL including passengers: George and Sidney CHAPPLE
« on: Tuesday 28 October 08 02:28 GMT (UK) »
George Chapple born 1841 and brother Sidney born 1844 Baltonsborough Somerset England (father John, mother Ann nee DENNIS) arrived with their uncle and aunt, John and Mary Dennis.

I do not have copy of the passenger list for arrivals, but I have marriage cert for George (1869 at Ballarat) and birth, death, marriage, divorce etc of his seven children and their descendants.  Also, photos, etc.

Hi Cando and everyone reading this posting,

Please, would you know of a way to get a copy of that passenger list? None of us live in Victoria, and it seems that the link indicates a personal visit is the option.  Do you know if these Vic lists are found in other archive holdings in say NSW - we have asked around, but not found any clues.

Cheers,

MA
