CULVER family

Hi

Please could anyone help with info on the Culver/Scoon family of Rochester,Kent.

Edward John Culver was born 1847 Rochester and died 1888 Rochester while his wife, Elizabeth Scoon was born 1844 Maidstone and died 1910 Rochester.
I have found their details on the census returns, but any other info would be much appreciated.

Can't see an Elizabeth SCOONS, but there is an Emma SCOONS marrying an Edward CULVER at St Nicholas Rochester on 28 Jul 1866. This is from the IGI. Cityark is playing up at the moment and can't get in to the PRs to check fathers names.

Edward possibly Edward Daniel CULVER baptised at St Nicholas Rochester on 30th August 1846, parents Edward and Mary Ann. Fits with Edward birth on FreeBMD of Jun qtr 1846. Edward CULVER married Mary Ann WILLIAMS, Jun qtr 1845.

There is an Elizabeth SCOONS born Jun qtr 1844 Maidstone. Looks like she married Sep qtr 1864, to either David CARTER or Edward David CARTER. Possibly daughter of Charles Henry and Priscilla, baptised Maidstone 29 Jun 1845.

Edward snr was a fisherman, which fits with 1851 census with Mary Ann being a fishermans wife. Edward aged 4 and Richard WILLIAMS aged 16

                  Have you got the right Edward? there is an Edward Culver age 56 with Wife Emma on the 1891 census RG12 ......724..........41.......... 3

Following from Rog's comment, Edward and Emma had a son called Edward John born 1867. Edward who married Emma is just Edward, except in the baptism record where he is Edward Daniel.

Just looked at FreeBMD again and could not find a death for an Edward John CULVER in 1888, but there is a marriage for one, Dec qtr Medway. He married Ellen Sarah BEALL at St Margarets Rochester. See here http://www.rootschat.com/links/04om/

Emma CULVER died 1910 Sep qtr aged 66
