Died at sea on way from U.S.A
« on: Saturday 01 November 08 20:23 GMT (UK) »
I had an ancestor James Henry from New York State, travelling to possibly Liverpool in Sept/Oct 1899, reputed to have died at sea. Any help or ideas of possible records of these type of deaths would be appreciated.
Thanks Curley

The UK incoming passenger lists on Ancestry have schedules of births and deaths at sea on the captain's signature page.  I've browsed through the Liverpool ones for Sep/Oct 1899 and can't find John Henry's death, but if you have access you might find him by trawling through a few more months either side.
